Boating for everybody
A holiday on a canal boat is for everybody! Kuhnle-Tours, Germany‘s leading charter company, is about to be one of the first to provide boating holidays with disabled access. The Febomobil catamaran has one flat deck and is the latest development from our in-house boatyard. The entire boat is wheelchair accessible; foredeck, helm, saloon with integrated galley, bathroom and cabin. The helm and sink have been specially adapted so a wheelchair can be positioned to take full control of the equipment. Would you like to navigate the boat or wash the dishes, take your pick!
The Febomobil has a lightweight foldable ramp to get on and off the boat.
The Febomobil is available with one cabin and one bathroom (Febomobil 990) or two cabins and two bathrooms (Febomobil 1180). The saloon in both models has a sofa which can be converted into two further berths.
The Febomobils are based on the most scenic waterways of Germany, on the small lakes between Berlin and the Baltic Sea and south of Berlin. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the waterways and Berlin, Europe’s only capital accessible for hire boats.
The Febomobil is licence-free and can be booked as a bareboat charter.
