- the route you drive, you usually have to drive back again
- journeys uphill (against the strom) take more time than journeys downhill (with the strom)
- inconvenient weather conditions (e. g. wind) can extend your travel time
- specially in sommer months there are long waiting times at locks
- average speed: 8-10 km/h

Where can you anchor?
For the nights, of course, you can search a berth at the habours. Please note that there can be some fees. At the most charter stations of KUHNLE-TOURS you can dock on free of charge. As an alternative to the marinas, you can also stop at the water tour rest areas.
Do you prefer staying far away from citys overnight? You can simply anchor at one of the lakes.
